[linux-dvb] vdr recording probs

Problems:
---------
-the video pc is running always. if i want to use vdr after 3 or 4 hours
with lirc remote the osd menu appears after 10-20 sec. (is there a sleeping
mode?).

-after 2-3 hours in /var/log/messages :

snap-

lux kernel: outcommand error 1
lux kernel: dvb ARM RESET
(what does this mean?)

-often recordings starts for 5 sec. and then ends
(if i press a keybutton on lirc remote (eg. for osd menu) the recording
continues)

-sometimes vdr record nothing

-how works the runvdr script?
it only works with standard configuration (video dir)
how can in use my own video dir and separate config dir?
