Hello,
As Chris said "some links no longer work" I add, except for the Siemens type
card, all other internet site is obsolete (1998, 1999, 2000).
So, do you know DVB PCI card with Linux drivers available today on the
market?
Regards
Goulven

The "DVB Market" link:

	http://linuxtv.org/dvb/market.xml

References the SkyMedia product line; all of which have Linux drivers.

I've tried to contact SkyMedia, but the only email address on their
web page is for the webmaster, and he won't forward the questions I've
asked.

Has anybody in this forum tried any of these cards?

The overviews of these products say "On Board Graphic Overlay Function
(Receiving Data/TV Simultaneously)", but I need more detail. Our
software requires 16bit color overlay graphics and full display
control of the video output (scaling, alpha blending, color keying,
channel/frequency/PID selection, etc...).

Does this hardware provide this capability? Do they provide software
API libraries to access these capabilities.

Note, also, some dead ends that need to be updated on the "DVB
Market's" page referenced above: "The Metzlerbrothers" link no longer
works (and no suitable replacement could be determined), and
Broadlogic no longer makes DVB cards, and has none in stock, and there
is no replacement.

Thanks,

Chris
