[linux-dvb] DTV 1.1.2 possible bugs ?

Hi,

I've tested DTV 1.1.2 the last night and found a few bugs along the way.

My system:
DVB card : Haupauge DVB-s ver. 1.3
DVB drivers: released from 18/6 or CVS snapshot from 26/6
Remote control: lircd via Irman

1. Starting dtv
---------------
After starting dtv "dtv -d" the very first event is ignored. After that no
problems. This is a very minor thing.

2. States
---------
Rolf Hakenes talks abaout 6 states : Normal, Current EPG, Language Menu,
NVOD menu, VTX.

Normal
------
Giving the event "o" gives you a channel list. It is possible to scroll the
channels but it's not possible to choose one with another "o" command, it
just quits the menu without selecting the channel.

Current EPG
-----------
Giving the event "a" should switch you into Current EPG state but only
triggers the OSD and shows Current EPG information for the defined time (4
s. default). Trying to use "+" or "-" to navigate just switched channels.
Giving another "a" which should leave the state retriggers the OSD.

Language
--------
Giving the event "y" takes you to the Language Menu state if multiple audio
PID's are available. It shows you a menu of available languages preceeded by
a number which is the channel number for all languages, like this :

	1	swe
	1	dan
	1	nor

Navigation using "+" and "-" works but it not possible to choose a language
with the "o" event, nothing happens if you try. Only option is to leave the
menu without doing anything.

VTX
---
Giving the event "b" should switch you to the VTX state showing a Teletext
window. When it works this is a really nice feature!
For some channels the "b" just triggers an OSD saying "VTX receiption
startet" and then noting more. Trying again gives the same result.

Apart from this a very promissing program. Another wanted feature would be
selection of a single audio channel (left or right) if it is possible. Some
channels, especially EuroSport are sending different language commentaries
in the left and right audio channel.

Regards,

Henrik Rasmussen
