[linux-dvb] Re: Cutting in VDR

Hi,

in my opinion it would be very useful to add a "mark
set" as a visual sign while in playback mode without
the progress bar showing (a audible sign would do the
same). The sign should disappear after a second ...
If you are viewing a movie for the first time with all
ads still existing, I'd like to set marks while viewing
the movie. In fact I skip the commercials by advancing
some minutes and then just view the end of the
commercials again, placing a mark at the real end of
the commercial block. Klaus is right when saying, that
the marks can be seen by pressing the "OK" button. But
while I'm viewing the movie, I don't like to switch
between progress bar and "no bar".
After viewing the whole film I will skip through the
movie while showing the progress bar and move the marks
more exactly to the beginning and end of the ads.
Therefore I would appreciate the "mark sign", too.

BTW: How can I skip to the end of a movie (just to see,
if the whole film was recorded/ because of non-existing
VPS). I hate watching a film til the end - experiencing
that the end of the film is missing ... ;-)

Regards,
Jens
