[linux-dvb] Antwort: Re: No picture at all
First: Thanks for the fast answer.
Second: Sorry for bad (or no) quoting. I have to use Notes here :-(
Ok, and third: The signal from the dish that goes into the card is ok. If I
plug the cabel into the d-box the picture is ok. I also did make shure that
the dvb-s card donīt has to share an irq. The signal strengh is good too. I
also renewed all cables going from the card to the TV.
Sometimes Iīm able to see something like a TV picture inside the flickering.
This evening I will try to record s.th. blindly. Maybe it works.
So long

It would not matter, because the driver reloads the firmware
every time you reload the driver.

a hardware problem.

Either that or you have a cabling or grounding problem.
First make sure that there is a signal that goes into
your DVB-s card: If you have a d-box or at least an
analogue receiver, move your sat cable from the dvb-s
card to the standalone receiver. You might also want to
try the signal strength measurement software that has been
posted here.
If you do have a valid signal, try to record something
blindly. Does that work? If yes, your card's video output
or its cabling might be broken.
