When I bring up the channel display (e.g. by pressing the "Ok" button)
and then press a number key (e.g. '1'), then I still see the channel
display of the current channel, and the "1-" is displayed in the top left
corner of that display, together with the name of that channel.
Is that what you mean? In that case: that's exactly how it is implemented.
Would you expect it to behave differently?
