[linux-dvb] New firmware in DVB-1.1.4?

Hello,
I just found out, that  the DVB-1.1.4.tar.gz from
http://www.metzlerbros.org/dvb/index.html
contains new "Dpram" and "Root" files.

Is there any information available what are the differences
between these files and the ones included in CVS "HEAD"?
