Hm, the 1.6 card uses the grundig_29504-491 frontend, not the
bsrv2/ves1x93.

The DiSEqC switch could get confused by garbled commands.
Maybe you should power-down your PC between tests.

When testing DiSEqC we have to be very careful, as a DiSEqC switch
understands old-style commands, too.

Your sequence transmits
- the standard DiSEqC message and
- tone/voltage/tone-burst (mini DiSEqC)

You will never know which command has actually been recognized by
the switch.

I suggest to use _either_ DiSEqC
  S19.2E 11700 V 9750 [E0 10 38 F0]
(or with 2 retransmissions)
  S19.2E 11700 V 9750 [E0 10 38 F0] [E1 10 38 F0] [E1 10 38 F0]

_or_ Mini DiSEqC
  S19.2E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 A W15 t

unless you have a funny setup with several cascaded switches.

Once a switch has recognized a valid DiSEqC command, it will ignore
the compatibility stuff anyway.
