[linux-dvb] Re: Kernel oops with vdr-1.3.7 and fedora fc2

Hello,

I'm running with the kernel that comes with fedora (2.6.5-1.358) and the dvb
drivers that was included.

I know it's a development version of vdr but it shoud not be able to cause a
kernel oops.
Coud this have something to do with the new osd stuff in vdr?
Looks like.

The osd code hasn't been changed for ages. VDR is probably the only user of the osd nowadays, and it worked the way it has used the osd before.

So if the osd code has been changed in vdr it might be possible that this caused a bug in the osd layer to show up.

Of course this should not happen, so if this bug can be confirmed, somebody will have to debug this sooner or later as time permits...

Michael.
