My Nova-T doesn't haev the audio0 or video0 either. I think this may be
because we have the budget Nova-T: in other words it doesn't have the
hardware MPEG decoder.

Personally I think this is an *advantage*!

My reasoning is that I want the video in digital form (as it was
transmitted) so I can record it with no loss. Just about any modern CPU
can decode MPEG in real time so there's no real need for hardware
support these days.

I use the fabulous kaxtv program mentioned on this very list. A fine
piece of software that does me proud.
