[linux-dvb] Udev support in official kernels

Hi

There has been some discussion in the Mandrake linux mailing list how to 
support dvb drivers now
when they have switched from devfs to udev.

One possibility is to use udev rules described in the cvs-kernels 
Documentation/dvb/udev.txt.
This will work fine with dvb-kernel drivers in CVS but not with the 
2.6.8.1 drivers.
Do you have any time estimations when udev support would be included in 
the Linux kernel tree?
