I am not sure about how to answer you. I wrote the code that accesses
the CAM without being able to understand much of what was
happening. It is probably not that much optimized, but it worked and I
totally forgot about the little that I understood of the whole
process. Also, the machine, the ony one I have access to with a
CAM-equipped card, is some 10 km from here, and not easy to access for
much experiment. If you think it may be useful, I could dedicate a
couple of hour to going back to the code and try to describe what I
do.

Anyway, with 2.6.9rc2, I had no OOPSes since this morning.
