Torgeir,

That's pretty much what I tried - essentially I downlaoded 2.6.10-rc1,
patched it with the video4linux config - pulled the latest dvb-kernel
from cvs and copied the linux directory over to the kernel.

I have

CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88=m
CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88_DVB=m

in my .config for the kernel. The error I get is as follows

 CC [M]  drivers/media/dvb/frontends/mt352.o
drivers/media/dvb/frontends/mt352.c: In function `mt352_read_status':
drivers/media/dvb/frontends/mt352.c:408: error: invalid operands to
binary &
drivers/media/dvb/frontends/mt352.c:410: error: invalid operands to
binary &
make[4]: *** [drivers/media/dvb/frontends/mt352.o] Error 1
make[3]: *** [drivers/media/dvb/frontends] Error 2
make[2]: *** [drivers/media/dvb] Error 2
make[1]: *** [drivers/media] Error 2

Looks like a mis-match of something or other.

To be honest I can wait another couple of weeks if it's going to be
major trauma (or am I just missing something simple ?)

Cheers
