Hello!
Im trying hard to get my new Skystar2 card working in linux.
I have done a modprobe for skystar2 and stv0299 and they where found just fine.
But when I try to find channels there is something wrong I have no
idea what the problem is.
The first LNB gives this
root@p-nisse:~# dvbtune -m Signal=0, Verror=0, SNR=24753dB, BlockErrors=0, ()

The second LNB gives this
root@p-nisse:~# dvbtune -m -D 1
Signal=65535, Verror=0, SNR=24426dB, BlockErrors=0, ()

you need a frequency to monitor

Scanning for channels mentioned in dvbtunes manual using the command:
dvbtune -f 12188000 -p h -s 27500 -v 163 -a 104 -t 32 I get:
root@p-nisse:~# dvbtune -f 12188000 -p h -s 27500 -v 163 -a 104 -t 32 Using DVB card "STV0299/TSA5059/SL1935 based"
tuning DVB-S to L-Band:8, Pol:H Srate=27500000, 22kHz=off
polling....

and it just keeps on doing that.

I have no idea what the problem is, any pointers is greatly appriciated.

you are not receiving that frequency. Are you sure that transponder is on your first LNB?
If not you should use -D <LNB> (counted from 1)
