[linux-dvb] mplayer/xine dvb-features working w/ current CVS code?

hello again,
i know, its sligthly offtopic, but ive been trying for some time to get
gmplayer compiled with built-in dvb support. however when specifying the
dvbincdir at mplayer's ./configure script, it still get errors about
missing files. 

so are there any patches for mplayer or xine, or is there any working
software that can work with budget cards?
