[linux-dvb] Re: dvb-dibusb-firmware.c cannot find a valid firmware

Dear Patrick,

I called for couple of days off for vocation and came back yesterday. Sorry for the delay.
You are right. After I upgrade to testing, everything was okay.
Except kernel oops occurred after
      "DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000-MC/P DVB-T)..."

But it's not exactly after replacing kernel-2.6.9 with kernel-2.6.10 (retrieving from kernel.org).
I'm now working on the apps.
Thanks again and talk to you later.

BR,
Samuel

Run the MAKEDEV-DVB.sh script from build-2.6 to make sure the major/minor
numbers are correct.

Sorry I never worked with woody and linux 2.6 and I don't have information
about it. Maybe you should upgrade to testing...

See here for information how to do this:

regards,
Patrick.
