[linux-dvb] First install-try with avermedia 771 and the cvs-checkout from 08.01.05
Hello All.
After my old harddisc crashed (and i leave with NO damn backup!) im at the
reinstall
of my gentoo-linux tv-box. That all worked a lil while ago, but now, as i
try to use
the echeckout from yesterday i run into troubles:
Aver dvb-t Card 771. Its recognized fine from the bttv-module of video4linux
(bytesex.org).
Then i try to insert modules from dvb-kernel:
dvb-core (all fine)
bt878 (all fine)
dvb_bt8xx (nothing fine!). Here it shouts out unknown symbols:
nxt6000_attach
mt352_attach
dst_attach
sp887x_attach
cx24110_pll_write
mt352_write
if i load nxt6000, mt352, sp887x and cx24110 - modules, i get:
dvb_bt8xx: unable to determine DMA core of card 0,
dvb_bt8xx: if you have the ALSA bt87x audio driver installed, try removing
it.
dvb_bt8xx: probe of dvb0 failed with error -14
dvb_bt8xx: unable to determine DMA core of card 1,
dvb_bt8xx: if you have the ALSA bt87x audio driver installed, try removing
it.
dvb_bt8xx: probe of dvb1 failed with error -14
What i cant understand is, why i have to load all that other modules (except
mt352) ?
And what's that for an error message regarding ALSA? I haven't ALSA
installed at all.
Is anything wrong with that module?
Thanks for any help...
Andreaz
