[linux-dvb] Problem with Nova-CI & Cryptoworks CAM

Hello,

After a few days, my Cryptoworks CAM stops decrypting. Restarting the
userland process or reloading the budget_ci module yields the same
error :

dvb_ca adaptor 0: PC card did not respond :(

Even rebooting the PC doesn't solve the problem. You have to manually
unplug/plug the CAM.

Besides, even when it's working, I lose a lot of TS packets. I'm tuned
on the MTV Networks transponder of Astra, and I experience TS
discontinuities of 1 packet every few minutes. I have tried changing the
Nova-CI card with no success. The channel is OK if I use another
receiver (a Dreambox for instance). Do you think the CAM could be at
fault ?

I'm starting to suspect that my CAM is defective. Does anyone have a
working configuration with an SCM Cryptoworks CAM ?
