It is not possible to implement timeshifting with only one DVB board.
You'll need one board to get the streams, and a second one to display them.
A good choice for the second card would be a Hollywood+/DXR3, which is far
less expensive than a Siemens/Hauppauge DVB board. It has an AC3-compatible
SPDIF output.
