[vdr] AW: Re: Commerial Filter?



This would be a nice feature to be added (by a patch?).
It's just important to know where the cutting marks more or less have to
be the rest is to do manually.

I would prefer a solution which could be started as external program
(like archiving to divx) and which makes proposals for the cutting
points. Afterwards one can correct them (or trust them). 
The algorithm to detect commercial could (and should) combine:
- logo detection
- loudness (commercials are often louder)
- blank frame
- scene change
...
Would be interresting but also much work.
