which version of vdr do you use?
on my 0.99 (and I think, it was the same back then with vdr 0.91), the
recordings subdirectories are called like

2002-02-15.20:15.99.99.rec

(or with a "." instead of ":" if used with the VFAT option)

Or do we speak about two different things?
