[vdr] Re: [Mplayer-dvb] DTS Sound
I know :-) Silly me :-)))
anyway ... I got some interesting thing found out :
http://www.minnetonkaaudio.com/Download_DTS_Recording.htm
here you can get dts sound samples encoded in 44KHz and embedded in wave
files ... I can easy play these files under linux and my decoder shows
wondeffull DTS sound !!!
I've just to use the spdif as output :
[hagie@unimatrix hagie]$ aplay -D spdif Fire__VooDoo_Studio_1_min.wav
Playing WAVE 'Fire__VooDoo_Studio_1_min.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little
Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo
and it works really great ...
Maybe that helps ...
Greetings

I'm sorry, but this old news. The above description is unrelated to the
DTS
data. True, DTS data are encapsulated in those PES frames, but the AC3
stuff allready decodes those bits succesfully. The undocumented and for us
interesting bits start where it says "The rest of the packet".
The DTS bits in this discription refer to "Display Time Stamp".
