yes, I know, that's it if I want to jump by 15 minutes, I have to press

 red - 0 - 0 - 1 - 5 - whatever for a jump

and the first 0 has to be pressed in most cases (only few recordings are
longer than 9 hours) with the new "scheme" this special example would
require only

 red - 1 - 5 - whatever for a jump
