VDR creates a bitmap in memory and sends that bitmap (or the parts
of it that have changed) to the DVB card's OSD. So the only OSD function
used is the "bitmap transfer". This was done because displaying text
with the OSD's text functions was veeeeerrrryyyyyyyy sloooooooow.
