I will be continuing using a windows client as there is no DVD authoring
software available. I wanted to archive the StarWars movies sent on
ProSieben with DD sound in best quality (=1:1 copy), and I did not want
to do this as a VDR (or PVA) file spread over several CDs.
Sure, I still don´t own a DVD recorder yet, but I think they will be
rather cheap this Christmas, and until then, I am going to save larger
MovieProjects on several CDs. Unfortunately, I still have not heard
about any OpenSource DVD authoring project.
