Version 1.6  of the CI modul doesn't work with the dvb driver (its not a 
problem with vdr!) . You NEED a version prior 1.6 to get it going with the 
dvb driver... than it will work with vdr, too!

And AFAIK you can't use _TWO_ CI modules at the same time with (again) dvb 
driver. Only the CI module connected to the last card in the system will be 
recognized by the driver. 
Had the same problems - with hardware - and with understanding the technical 
facts :-))
