[vdr] trouble with lcdproc

Hello list,

I reconfigured my old LCD display (2x16) which formerly worked with the
drivers by Niels Faerber to get LCDproc running. LCDproc seems to run
fine, but I am not able to connect VDR to it -- neither with the AIOs to
1.0.2 nor with Martin's LCDproc patch and a plain vanilla vdr.

LCDproc's info shows "1 client" for about a second when starting VDR
with the "-L localhost" attribute. Afterwards it switches back to "0
clients".

I would be glad for any idea.
