[vdr] OT: MacOSX Stupid Question (was VDR on PowerPC)

Hi list,

At our company we have a Mac with MacOSX installed.
As it's based upon an unix system (is this right?) there must be a console
or not?

If I remember correctly, you could get a console under MacOS 9 by pressing
the little button at the front of the mac (yeah, not a very technical
description...)

How can I get the console under MacOSX and what can I do with it?
