[vdr] OT: Anyone having a PIONEER DVR-A04 working with linux?

Hi,

I'm interested in adding DVD-recording to VDR. So I was trying to get
packet-writing work with my PIONEER DVR-A03, but as it doesn't support
formatting by firmware, cdrtools for packet-writing can't initialize the
CD/DVD-R(W).

The A04's firmware supports formatting by firmware, so is anyone out
there running a DVR-A04 with linux who could test it?
