[vdr] xvid+vdr

Hi there,

maybe my question is a littlebit stupid, but is there a way on putting pure
yuv or rgb to my dvb-card to display on TV ? I've seen the quality of the
Tv-Out and it looks great. But realtime mpeg-transcoding of divx eats up a
lot of cpu-power. First I thought to use a athlon 500, but now I think it's
better to use my duron 1100. But If I use a graphic-card with TV-Out the
cpu-usage isn't so big but then I have to switch the channel for different
formats and I want to view it from inside vdr. Maybe a cheaper "passive"
dvb-card is able to do that?
Any advice?
