[vdr] User inactivity...

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi List, hi Klaus,

I've got a (simple ?) question regarding the "user inactivity"
settings.

What actually is considered as "user activity" ? Is it "just"
pressing keys on the remote, resp. keyboard ? Or is it *also*
connecting to port 2001 on the vdr machine ?

The latter case would explain, why my machine never goes to
sleep, although I set the user inactivity to 2 hours. Since
my "watchdog" connects to localhosts port 2001 every minute
(just saying "QUIT") to check whether VDR is still alive,
this could be the reason.

Anyone ?

Thanks in advance for any hint
