[vdr] Problems with DVD-Playback

Hi there,

I tried to play a DVD via VDR yesterday, it worked quite well under
Windows (XP, Toshiba CD/DVD Combo), although there were many lags, the
dvd was very scratched.
It did not work under VDR, this is the log entry:

I'm not quite sure, what the "Media region code is mismatched to logical
unit" meant, it was a normal Region 2 DVD.

When browsing the DVD in shell, I found that it was mounted correctly
and I could access the files. I then tried to open the files via
Mplayer, of course he couldn't open the vobs directly, but here is the
log resulting:

Aug 24 22:39:57 vdr kernel: hdb: command error: error=0x50

Is it possible, that the DVD has to many scratches? Why did it play
under Windows?

Thank in advance, Christof
