Today I got the problem that recordings were playing unsmooth on my
vdr-machine. i looked at top and it seemed that kswapd was using 50%
processor time. I only had 3 MB free RAM (256MB overall). I observed
that LCDd used over 60 MB and after killing it I had again more than
180MB RAM free. no more swapping and the same recording played smooth
again... just my thoughts.
