I know this site and I used the boot option - no success.
Have not tried the patched kernel version and the new sis drivers so far - maybe this weekend.

I think it would have been better to buy an SS40 than and SS50 :-)

Yes, I did.
Could you send me a list of you BIOS settings (what options are enabled and disabled)?
