I'm a little confused concerning this issue. It just started to do a
recording. But directly after starting vdr it performed the timers update
and than did the shutdown, before setting the new ones. So I think it was
the inactivity shutdown...

Ok, you are right. Didn't thought about this one. But I think this it's a
good idea to prevent vdr to issue a shutdown command as long as there is
an open SVDRP session (what do you think Klaus?).
