Hi Steffen,

vdr-1.1.20 is really running stable here with AiO and the 
following options for make

CONSOLE=1 REMOTE=LIRC NO_KBD=1 ICT=1.

All other combination activating the bars f.e. causes crashes
within seconds. However, I got the features I wanted to:
symbols, small fonts and color patch
