[vdr] SV: Re: SV: CAM support, was Improved CAM support in VDR
I get somewhat different behaviour.
Vdr dumps about 4 Megs of logs.
The first 10% of the file is "slot 0 status 0000".
Then it reads "slot 0 status 0001" until 11 lines of "--> 00 01 82 01 01".
This is the case both with Conax and the Viaccess CAMs. With no CAM inserted
I get slot 0 status 0000.

I guess I just found something here: apparently the parameter to the
CA_RESET
ioctl() call is not the slot index, but rather flag word containign a '1'
bit for
every slot that shall be reset. Please give the new
ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/Developer/ci.c
a try, in which I have changed this (there may be lots of "slot 0 state
0001" messages at
stdout, but maybe this change activates the actual CA_RESET, which
previously wasn't
executed since the slot parameter was '0').
