[vdr] dvd-plugin: does it work?

Hello,
I am planning to switch to vdr 1.1.x.
For me it is essential to be able to play DVD.

Since there are several messages regarding problems with the
dvd-plugin,

does the dvd-plugin work?
does it work as in vdr 1.0.4 (better/worse)?
