Hi Helmut,

there is a project called rmp3, which is a linux-version of the
megaradio-player for windows.

From a quick overview of the website, they even have support for 
DVB-drivers,
but as far as I could see, only "old" versions (ost/dmx.h is included)

This would be really great to have for the new drivers and as a plugin 
for vdr.
