Well, I don't want to "steal" your project. I only made it work
with my recordings.

On the other hand, this topic is of great interest for me. I
like you concept for this very much, but I think there is room
for improvement (too much data copying). So if you absolutely
don't want to spent time in development/maintaining, I would take
this part.
