Okay, I tried this and it works perfectly ;o)) So output on DVB is
possible. Now I have killed all mplayer scripts (mount, conf, etc)
from my VDR partition. Next I would like to test same as above
except that I want to call it from within VDR. How would the
command line option look like? I.e. when I say Mplayer from
within VDR it should play a file called 001.vdr which is located
in /usr/local/bin (where mplayer, too is located)

If this works, I obviously have a bug somewhere in one of the
scripts. Browsing works, so I doubt it is a problem in the mplayer
sources conf file.

Thanks & Greetz,
Reinhard
