In the 1.1.17 mod:
a combo driver (standard CVS from August I believe)
using a modified firm. I have been using this for quite
a while simply because it is very stable and I get little
or no crashes during recordings even on instant replay.
(i.e. only if the mini replay OSD is active and I ff or fr)
Much more stable than the cii driver I am using to test
the 1.1.21. However since the fw has changed due to the
link layer, it of course, no longer works in the cii
driver.

In the 1.1.21 standard: the cii driver from Klaus' website

Both show the same behaviour.

I DID try this, but I can't remember the exact result. It might well
be that this was during the sucessfull Pro-7 test. I'll have to redo
my tests and make some notes during testing ;o))
