[vdr] Re: CAM - CI (ver1.6) problem

This is unfortunate situation, it'd be interesting to know the numbers of
people using the driver for different applications, i.e IP or video, it
seems to me that the developers seem only interested in the IP (this is only
my opinion, and they have the right to develop what they want, i'm not
'getting at them' - it's just frustrating), which is a shame as I can only
see the use of ip over satellite being used by a relively small group of
users and the use decreasing over time (as more users get asdl/cable etc) -
i had ip over satellite for a year and a half and my honest opinion of it is
that it's not a great technology, i'm now back using my modem....

Let's hope at some point in the near future the driver developers have a
change of heart and figure out why the 1.6 CI interfaces don't work properly
over the link layer...
