Hi,

I have an EPIA-ME6000 in a Morex Cubid 2699 case. A DVB-S 2.1 won't fit
into the case without working it (the case!) with a file. There are 2mm
missing, but that takes 5 minutes including the search for the file. But
the major drawback is the power supply!
I assume you are using the external power adapter that comes with the case.
The mini-itx.com review regarding the power supply of the Cubid says:

"the 2677 takes a 12V DC input from a seperate external AC adapter. The DC-DC
converter provides 54.95W of power. The Mini-ITX specification only requires 47W
(max) or 60W (peak) and in practice this is more than adequate to run a Hard
Drive, Motherboard and DVD/CDR all at once."

So I think it's really the added DVB-s card that draws a lot of power and therefore the overall system power consumption will exceed the power provided
by the adapter. But shouldn't it be enough just to replace it with any power
adapter a bit more powerful and providing a 12V output?
