[vdr] DVB+VDR and MPEG1/2/4

Well I have finished my "set-top box" (still a mini tower ;-)) and I
have two questions :

I was wondering if VDR can output thru a framebuffer device.
My motherboad include a very good TV-Out (CVBS an YC), sp/dif out and
several goodies. I want to use only my motherboard's connectors to link
my "set-top box" to the TV.

The second question is that driver for the em8471 (RealMagic MPEG1/2/4
decoder) seems to be released under linux. I don't know if it's possible
to overlay the output of the mpeg4 card to the DVB.
As the chip doesn't have video input, we cannot use overlay over this
chip(em8471)/card.

Perhaps the solution is to send everything from the DVB to the MPEG1/2/4
card (which can decode it), something like the DXR3 plugin which use the
em8300 chip...

If someone has a clue...

Philippe
