[vdr] Re: Remote not working with vdr



Hi,

Thanks for the response.The card has a slot for IR receiver.The IR Receiver
is a three pin device and a small cable is connected to it so that it can be
placed a little away from pc.The remote control is from hauppauge and works
with TV.

what kind of ir receiver do you use?
there are 3 main streams
-LIRC (make with REMOTE=LIRC)
-build-in IR of the card (only needs the ir-plugin)
-RCU (special build from Klaus Schmidinger
http://www.cadsoft.de/people/kls/vdr/remote.htm)
