[vdr] Q: already a transcode-script for ... ?

Hi!
Has anybody already written an transcode and clean up script
for this purpose:
- - search all ready cut recordings
- - merge them togehter to a movi-episode.mpg file
- - transcode it to divx/xvid, using a processmanagement,
for not to use up too much cpu ... perhaps do transcoding on
another node.
- - delete the origin recording from vdr after succsessfull
transcode
- - sort the gennerated avis in directories of a special size:
4650 MB, i.e.
- - crontab ready

Using the build in mencoder option in vdr is not the best idea,
it would be great to be able to cut out commercials.
