I'm still having troubles to install VDR.
There was no way to get VDR running on the VIA e-pia M9000 board so have 
switched to a normal ATX board as test.

The DVB driver is no problem.. both siemens_dvb-0.9.4-2002-06-23.tgz
As linuxtv-dvb-1.0.0-pre2.tar.gz work perfect.

Installing VDR gives always problems.
It happens both with VDR-1.0.4 as 1.1.26 but errors are a bit different.
I've installed now linuxtv-dvb-1.0.0-pre2 and try VDR-1.1.26


Make gives as error:

Dvbdevice.c:16:jepglib.h: no such file or directory
Make: ***[dvbdevice.o] Error 1

I've installed both DVB driver as VDR under /dvb.

If I locate both under /usr/local/src then make reports even more
'no such file or directory' errors before error1.

I'm using a minimal install of Suse linux 7.3, added the suse source
File, make, autoconf, automake, ncurses, gcc, gpp.
Kernel 2.4.10

Another odd thing.
I only installed the gcc C compiler first but that resulted in
Failure during the make of the DVB driver.
It seems that it needs the c++ compiler.

The funny part:
VDR did run in the begin but problems started when trying to add
DVD support. Make failed . I've re-installed linux several times
but always errors.

Any ideas?
