[vdr] ERROR (svdrp.c,354): Broken pipe

Hello,
sometimes when I want to send EPG-data via SVDRP with
svdrpsend.pl, I get the following error message
ERROR (svdrp.c,354): Broken pipe

Does anyone know, what this means, why it happens or what I
can to?

I am using vdr-1.1.29.

p.s.: After the error the epg-data is not within vdr.
