[vdr] vdr does not start correctly

Hi,
I just installed vdr(1.1.29) and the dvb-driver
(linux-dvb.2003-04-27).
make insmod works fine, i can see the copyright-logo on my tv and
there are no error messages.

when i try to start vdr (vdr -v video-dir), nothing happens. no
errors.. no messages at all on screen.
the cursor just jumps to the next row and the tv-screen stays empty.

there are 4 vdr-processes and no errors in /var/log/messages...
